Emi...and Me...

First, Emi is doing wonderfully. She is making a great recovery from the parvo. But, there's some bad news...We didn't get along. Some doggie instinct, maybe it was Emi's damaged orb, but we weren't the best of friends, so it was decided, for Emi's sake and my sake, that she spend some time with another family, where she can get better without a lot of stress, and get ready for her orb repair.

My mommie gave Emi a yak chew and lots of love from everybody. I am sad, though, that I couldn't help more.

Maybe, when the time is right, we can meet again and share some doggie park time or a hedgie...

Little Emi still needs help, so anything is appreciated: Central Coast Pug Rescue

  1. I'm so sorry you and Emi didn't get along Bella but sometimes it just works out that way. I'm sure she will be very happy as soon as she has her orb repair and you were a really good friend to get her the help she needed. Just like the people we own, some friends you can live with and some you just prefer to visit.

I'm really happy that little Emi is feeling better but I am so sad and so sorry that you didn't get along, you were so good to her Belly and I'm sure you will meet again, I will keep sending out Pug prayers for her and hope that her eye is treated soon! You family are wonderful and did the best they could and they made the right choice to let another family help her! That way she gets even more love from even more people! Sometimes you have to keep the ones you love most at arms length. It's okay. I know you tried hard to be the best foster sister ever. Somepug as needy as Emi surely dominated your 'rents just a little more than you could handle.

  4. Oh Bellatrix,
I am just catching up with everyone. I can't believe everything that has been happening there. I don't have too many treat dollars right now, but I went over and gave what I could for Emi. I hope she has a smooth road to recovery and finds the loving home she deserves. This parvo is serious. Mom just helped transport the cutest little chug named Johnny. He just this week got real sick and was diagnosed with it. He is doing better like Emi. I am trying to get our sunflower spooky suarez underway this weekend. Stop by if you get a chance.

  5. We know you did everything you could to help poor Emi. It is very stressful having someone new and sick in your house and even more stressful sharing your family with them. We will continue to keep Emi in our thoughts and send out healing pug juju. We know that you and your awesome parents will find the best way to help pugs in need and even find the foster that fits the Bellatrix lifestyle.

  6. It's hard being a foster sister. It's not for everyone, but it's good that there was another family who could take Emi in and let her recover. Our mom will only take boys to foster right now. Between Tallulah and Petunia's gang mentality and Isabelle's attitude, adding another girl to the mix is a no go. There would be blood shed. So boys it is for the moment. If you get along better with boys, that might be an option for you, too. And if it isn't, it's okay. It's hard being an only pug to having strange ones running around your house.
Glad Emi is on her way to healing though! That is wonderful news.

  7. Hi Bella,
I'm sorry things didn't work out between you and Emi, but it's probably best for your both. I'm so glad she is getting better and I wish her the best. You'll find the perfect foster to share your great family with soon or as SFPs said, some other way to love on other pugs.
    Love,
    Payton

  9. We're so glad to hear that Emi is doing better!

I'm sure she's doing well with her other family. Sorry you had beef with her...but sometimes that happens. My friend Maggie totally tried to eat Payton's FACE when she was here visiting! Not cool.

  10. Quick Emi update....her eye needed to be taken out last night in an emergency surgery. She came out fine and was also fixed. She is resting at the home of her foster family. If you want to check on her progress, check out the Central Coast Pug Rescue website, or like them on Facebook! Thanks to everyone who has helped her out. You have my eternal gratitude!!

  11. WAH! I wish Emi could have stayed with you longer but like Salinger said sometimes there's too much bitey face. Bummer. Maybe the next foster you get will be better suited to life with queen Belly!

I'm so glad to hear that Emi finally got that nasty eye removed. She is going to find a forever real soon.
